Ultimate Betrayal: Oregon GOP’s Cowardly Silence and Active Attacks on Ben Edtl Prove They Want IP37 to Fail – While National Republicans Fight for Election Integrity

Portland, OR – January 13, 2026 – Not a single elected Republican official in Oregon has had the courage to publicly support Initiative Petition 37. Zero. Not one.

While the Washington GOP, California GOP, and the entire national Republican movement, led by President Trump, fight for secure elections, Oregon’s Republican Party and Caucus have chosen outright betrayal.

Even worse, they didn’t just stay silent, they actively sabotaged the cause. At the state party platform convention, GOP leaders allowed Rep. Ed Diehl, Kevin Mannix, and DBS to seize control and strip specific election security ideals from the Oregon Republican Party platform. When the majority of delegates walked out in protest to break quorum, a near riot erupted as Linn County GOP delegates instigated violence against those who left. Despite the chaos and the clear lack of proper quorum, they rammed the weakened platform through anyway.

This was no mistake. It was a deliberate effort to gut the party’s commitment to real election integrity.

Caucus members like Rep. Ed Diehl have repeatedly dismissed IP37 as “a waste of time” that will only “galvanize Democrats to GOTV.” These are the same establishment cronies who spent years blaming Republican losses on the excuse that “Republicans just don’t vote.” They can’t have it both ways.

Election security is now the number one issue for Republicans across the country, along with many Democrats. President Trump’s Executive Orders have made it a national priority. Yet Oregon’s own GOP cowards protect the rigged status quo that benefits insiders of both parties.

Their coordinated attacks on me conspiring with UPTD, ODOT, RLS, and Rep. Ed Diehl to breach my contract, produce the falsified RLS report calling for me to be turned over to authorities, and doctor public records are not personal. They are strategic. They are trying to destroy the messenger because they desperately want IP37 to fail.

This is proof perfect: the Oregon GOP establishment does not want election integrity. They want the black-box vote-by-mail system that keeps them in power and lets late ballots flip results with zero accountability.

The people of Oregon see the betrayal. The national Republican movement sees it. History will record it.
